To expand on Bishop Sheen’s statement about right and wrong…
“Right is always right, even when nobody is right. Wrong is always wrong, even when everybody is wrong.”
Truth is always true, even if nobody believes it. Falsehood is always false, even if everybody believes it.
Good is always good, even when nobody is good. Evil is always evil, even when everybody is evil.
Right and wrong. Truth and falsehood. Good and evil. None of these are reliant upon democracy – they are not decided on by a majority vote. They simply are, and no amount of subjective opinion can change them.
